Duties in unit:    Gunner

Other Assignments:  I served three (3) tours in Vietnam.  My first tour was with the Big Red One 1st/ 18th, second with the 68th Top Tigers, and last tour was in 1971 with the 129th AHC which was up North crewed as a gunner then as a crew chief. Stationed at Ft. Hood, TX between tours in Vietnam.

Family:  Married Glenda A. in Aug. 1971, 1 daughter Tammy M. Tinker age 29.

Hobbies:  Rebuilt a 58 model I H tractor,  1957 IH Golden Jubilee custom pickup  truck, and in the process of building a 3 ft radio controlled USS Gato submarine.

Remarks:  On New Years Eve 1971, I crashed the Officers Club for a drink.  When I left I was so drunk I went by the CO's ship and got my sandal stuck in the tarmac, had to stick my foot in the gun cleaning tank to get the tar off my feet.  No Lie!
