Arrived in unit:   July 1969 – WO1

Departed unit:    Dec. 1970 - WO2

Duties in unit:   Slick Pilot, Supply Officer for several months

Other Assignments:   Basic at Ft. Polk, Flight Training at Ft. Wolters and Advanced Trng at Hunter-Stewart AAF, Savannah, GA, then Bien Hoa AFB where I joined the 68th AHC and completed a tour and one extension.

Current Residence:   Marshfield, WI

Occupation:  I separated from the Army after completing my tour in VietNam. I went to college for awhile but was able to obtain a job flying Bell 47 models for a civilian company. I picked up CFI and Inst. ratings and worked for several other companies as a pilot. and developed a charter service that I spun off with some partners. We grew to three ships, 2 Jetrangers and a 1964 "B" model Huey (also a VietNam Veteran). After 25 years of beating the air into submission I went back to college for 4 years and became a Physician Assistant in 1996. My specialty is orthopedic surgery.

Married since 1972 to Tonie and blessed with 3 children, 2 grandchildren.

Hobbies: 
Minimal participation in golf, woodworking and fishing.
