Accident Summary:
Hard landing in IFR dust condition. On final approach, the pilot was warned of the dusty condition of the runway. Pilot noticed the aircraft in front hover forward and he continued moving forward to maintain spacing. Dust became so intense that visible reference to ground and horizon was lost and pilot attempted to land. The aircraft commander took the controls as the aircraft made ground contact and prevented the aircraft from rolling over
