I was medevaced to Japan after being injured in a crash.

Duties in unit:  Flight line mechanic, Crewchief, slicks, med-evac, C&C ship and Mustangs.

Other Assignments:  Crewchief, flight line mechanic.  Apr. 1967 Basic Training, Ft Polk, La.  Jul. - Sept. 1967 Huey Maintenance School, Ft Rucker, Al.  July. - Nov. 1968 Camp Drake, Japan.

Training:   67N20, Single Rotor Helicopter Maintenance School Honor Graduate, Fort Rucker, AL  

DOS Army:   Nov. 8, 1968.  ( I had an early out due to still recovering from my injuries).  
 

Now

Current Residence:   Kerens, Texas.  I live on Richland Chambers reservoir about 95 miles southeast of Dallas.  

Occupation:  Sales rep in the air-conditioning/insulation industry in the US and Mexico.  I lived in Mexico for 10 years before retiring in 1998 at age of 50.  

Family:  I am single.

Hobbies:    I love water.  Boating, fishing, riding my Wave runner are my main hobbies.  I also love my motorcycle and traveling in my motor home. 

Remarks:  I am very proud to be a Mustang and proud of my service in Viet Nam.
