68^th AHC 2006 Reunion

Update from the Reunion Chairperson Bill Tighe
Cold Coast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas

Thursday Sept. 28 to Sunday Oct. 1, 2006

The primary reunion days are Friday & Saturday Sept. 29^th & 30^th.
The big unit dinner will be Saturday Evening.

Come to Las Vegas early and/or stay late, plan your travel days before and after the 2 main reunion days.

I have not planned any structured events as there is too much to choose from. Tours can be coordinated thru the bell desk.

I have reserved 75 rooms at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. To make reservations you need to contact the hotel and mention you are with the 68^th AHC reunion.

Room reservations, rates can only be guaranteed if they are made directly to the hotel under the 68^th AHC agreement.

Reservations can be made by calling the hotel direct at 888-402-6278 & identifying the 68^th AHC or with the group code “68T0925” or by e-mail at coastres@coastcasinos.net and identify the “Gold Coast” as there are 5 Coast Casinos. The group name (68^th Assault Helo Co.) the group code (68T0925), the name of guest, address, and phone, type of accommodations, arrival date, departure date, credit card number and expiration. We need 70 rooms reserved to get the free extras the hotel is providing.

The Gold Coast is located one (1) mile off the center of the strip on West Flamingo Road. It will have a shuttle bus running every 15 minutes to and from the location almost in front of the Imperial Palace.   The shuttle runs from about 8 AM to 12:30 AM .

Room Rates - Mon – Thurs.   $55.00 + tax
                          Weekends     - $120.00 + tax
This is the pricing for double occupancy, extra people is slightly higher.

The Reunion

There will be a reunion registration fee of         -------   $20.00 a person
The Saturday Night Banquet /business meeting    --   $36.50 a person
I (Bill Tighe) will collect these funds when you arrive at the reunion. If you wish to help with the reunion check-in please contact me.

The 68^th Business meeting will take place after the banquet in the banquet room.

I need to know how much space is needed for a daytime hospitality room for those wishing to bring memorabilia to display. Please contact me if you plan to bring items.
