Website Privacy Statement.

The webmasters respect the privacy of the contributors and visitors to our Website.  We believe that if our site is to flourish, our contributors and visitors must be assured that information provided online is used responsibly and appropriately.  Therefore, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. 

About the Information We Collect.

The information we collect through our Website is intended to re-unite Vietnam veterans who served with the 68th Assault Helicopter Company (AHC) or its detachments.  The webmasters were helicopter crew chiefs/pilots assigned to the 68th AHC in 1968 when the unit was based at Bien Hoa.  We ask those who served before, after or with us to share personal information that may be of interest to others from the 68th AHC.  And we would like to publish your information on our site.  This includes your name, nickname, call sign, rank, duty assignments, dates of service and other pertinent information.

We would also like to publish information about your current situation such as your career, your hometown and state, your e-mail address, your family, your interests, hobbies and preferences.  You are under no obligation to provide this information and our policy is to show only personal information that you voluntarily provide.  We will not sell, trade, transfer, lease or rent any of that information to any third party.  And even if you chose to provide your E-mail address on the "Unit Members" and "Guest Book" sub menus, we do not authorize anyone to add your E-mail address to any E-mail list for the purpose of sending Spam.

For Casual Website Visitors and General Users.

We do not collect any personal information from visitors browsing our Website.  When you visit our Website you do so anonymously.  We do collect aggregate use information, such as the number of visits (hits) per page.  We use this data for internal auditing purposes to identify favorite areas of the site and to improve the site.

From our Donors and Other Contributors.

If you decide to contribute to our Website by donating photographs, biographies or other information germane to your service with the 68th AHC, in all cases you are submitting this information voluntarily.  You always have the option of removing your information from our database if you no longer wish to receive future communications.  Simply notify us at our E-mail addresses.

Complaint Procedure

If you suspect that we have handled your personal information in a way that doesn’t comply with this privacy statement, please contact us at our E-mail addresses.  We will correct the error immediately.

We welcome links to our Website from those who wish to support our mission.  We ask that you contact us with your intentions to link to our site, and to indicate the purpose of the link.  No link may present or display a product or activity in a way that states or implies our endorsement.  We do not endorse any commercial organizations or product.
